Working with Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership, the University of Maine, the University of New England, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Sea Grant Program, we have integrated data from five new spotter buoys into the Mariners’ Dashboard. These cost-effective buoys measure wave height, period, direction, sea surface temperature, and air pressure, helping fill data gaps and deliver important sea-state information.
